She truly listens to her clients to translate their ideas into restful, timeless retreats. Lauren has a vast knowledge of the history of design and enjoys incorporating a variety of styles, unique objects and original art to create a collected feel in any space she designs.
By collaborating with architects, craftsmen, builders, and landscape designers, she meticulously coordinates the details that produce tasteful interiors. She infuses classic design with a fresh interpretation and a dash of southern charm. Her experience with restoration and historic preservation is unique and she has a passion for antiques. Lauren is known for colorful, layered spaces that reflect the client’s personality while elevating their lifestyle.
Lauren has a family of her own and knows how to combine beauty and practicality to create interiors that are stylish yet livable, comfortable and functional. She has a B. S. in Interior Design from the University of Alabama and has transformed inspiring spaces for over twenty five years. After receiving her degree, she completed an internship in space planning and design at Herman Miller, Ltd. in London. She also spent several years at the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C. where her office designed U.S. embassies around the world. Lauren’s work has been featured in Southern Living Magazine, Birmingham Home & Garden, The Cottage Journal, and Southern Cottage.
